This is another Plus set, which features bigger blocks to help children and beginners step into the world of Nanoblock.

Step One: Difficulty Level
You should always check the difficulty level on the packaging to ensure you are choosing a set that fits your experience or preference.
I could not find the difficulty level for Nanoblock Plus sets, so I assume the rules are different because it is geared toward younger and beginner builders.
However, the difficulty level on standard sets is based on a scale of one to five. One is the easiest level, and five is the most advanced level.
Regardless of the difficulty level, all sets come with easy-to-follow instructions.
To quote Tons of Hobbies,
“A quick perusal of the instructions revealed it to be a rather straightforward build.”
This was a review of a set that was not on my list, but I know from experience that it applies to most sets.

You can find sets with as few as 80 pieces or as many as 6,000 pieces. The number of pieces depends on the design itself, the difficulty level, and the target age group.
The number of pieces can be found on the packaging, and the total count includes the display baseplate and extra pieces.
Every set includes extra pieces to avoid frustration if you lose a piece, but you can also use the pieces to create or change a design.
Step 3: Age Group
The suggested age group is another thing to keep in mind when choosing your set.
If you are expanding your own collection, you may not be worried about the age group. I do not always look at the age group when shopping for myself.

However, the age group is important if you are shopping for another collector. I would not purchase an advanced set for a young child who is just starting out in building kits.
The suggested age group can be found on the packaging, and it is usually based on the difficulty level of the set. For example, a level one set is suitable for ages 8 and older.
Of course, a Plus set is suitable for ages 5 and older. This is perfect if you are shopping for a younger age group.
